Today we’d like to introduce you to PeriSean Hall.

During her professional career and ministry assignments, PeriSean B. Hall has illumined the following platforms: seminar/workshop facilitator, news reporter/producer, TV/radio show and LIVE events producer, radio personality, worship leader, and emcee and stage performer. She is also the author of My Mama Told Me: Motherly Wisdom for Everyday Living, her debut book, released in 2014, and is scheduled to release her second book by the 1st Quarter of 2020. In 2019, PeriSean was approved and confirmed as a Commissioned Minister by her home church, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, TX where Dr. Tony Evans is pastor.

PeriSean’s mother, Saundra Bolden Hall, cleverly and purposefully named her while she was still in the womb. The name PeriSean is comprised of both of PeriSean’s parents’ names and has a compound meaning: Peri-a beautiful and graceful girl; Sean- servant of God and the grace of Jehovah.

PeriSean exudes a passionate drive to polish people into purpose with precision. Cloaked with an uncommon grace to usher people into the very heart and presence of God, this prolific writer, speaker and singer deliver words of wisdom to inspire men and women to maximize their potential. “I teach people how to live who they are, not what they are,” she says.

Despite her commitment to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, PeriSean’s walk with GOD has not exempted her from sustaining some of life’s hardest blows. At an early age, she witnessed domestic violence in the home, which led to her parents’ divorce. She faced paternal abandonment issues and was diagnosed with severe depression at the age of 29, became a divorcee in 2000 and in 2001 suffered the devastating loss of her beloved mother.

But GOD. During each trial, PeriSean allowed GOD to use those experiences to point her way back to Him. By HIS grace…the more she endured, the more she became who He created her to be. With each new day this woman of GOD continues to become as she overcomes.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?The road has not all been smooth but it’s surely been worth it! To GOD, be ALL the GLORY!!!!

Overcame severe clinical depression – 1996-1997. Overcame a traumatic separation and divorce -1997-2000. Overcame great loss with the passing of my mother in 2001, whose memory and love still inspires me today.

2008-Answered God’s call to join Him in a faith journey where I sold all I owned and moved out of state to work in full-time ministry. One year later (2009) I was laid off and for the first time in my life, I found myself homeless and hungry. I lived off the Grace of GOD and credit cards. I learned to write my way out of hunger by writing promotional material and editing books for small business owners. I also had a little financial help from some friends back in Dallas. In May 2009-I arrived back in Dallas and started The Word Doctor, my Creative Copywriting and Editorial Service Business. I also served families and began the road to financial recovery. I’m happy to say I’m debt-free!

Please tell us about PeriSean Enterprises.

PeriSean Enterprises is a manifold entity. Right now my business consists of my personal services as a Speaker, Author and Singer. I love to inspire men and women to love unconditionally, hope unashamedly and live authentically through singing and by teaching simple, but yet profound mechanics from the books I have authored. I am very effective at facilitating atmospheres where people are inspired to hope again, to love again, and challenged to become again. I present from both a ministry and corporate platform.

I provide very memorable experiences as a LIVE Events Show Producer- My job is to facilitate and manage what’s happening on the Main Stage. This includes managing and directing keynotes, entertainers and technical crews. I’m expecting to see the LIVE production side of my business flourish in 2020 and beyond.

Currently, people know me best as an encourager and singer. I’m most proud about being used by God to create atmospheres and experiences that bring people joy. I believe all that I am called by God to do has to be filtered through the lens of faith, hope and love – the greatest of these is LOVE

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?It was my mother picking me up from preschool every day. Throughout our lives together, it was always such a joy and a dream come true to see and experience my mother. Every time I got to see her or talk to her was a dream come true! I’m grateful. Obviously, my mother was and still is a huge inspiration to me.
